happy birthyears!...
They're celebrating their "eight-ness" by celebrating the music from the years they were born, which essentially guarantees an 80s night and Allison. (She's 16. She was born in the 90s. Pass the Centrum Silver, please.)
The questions:
Will Adam look like old Adam, who we love or new Adam, who we love?
Will Scott step away from the piano like Paula wants, or will he stay at the keyboard like everyone else wants?
Who will Matt be tonight?
Will Anoop really try to dance again?
What color will Danny's glasses be?
What color will Allison's hair be?
Will Lil have given her babies boxing lessons so they can take Randy out?
Will Jennifer fall more in love with Kris?
Will the judges act like grown ups?
Will Kara say something original that actually makes sense?
Yes. Those are the questions.
I will let you know the answers, and my views on the whole
Have at it. And I'll see you tomorrow.

I don't think it's Allison's hair we have to worry about; it's everything else she's got on!
I am loving this year. The only one I'm not a huge fan of is Lil and Scot should to this week. Matt and Allison were awesome, Danny and Kris were good.
Adam gave me goosebumps and got a standing O from Simon. Wow!! This was a good week.
very good week. I even liked Scott a LOT. What a sweet young man.
Jennifer you made me laugh out loud with the "pass the Centrum Silver" comment! HA!
!betsy
Can't wait to see what Jennifer has to say. I think Scott is gone this week, then Anoop and then Lil. At least I hope.
For me, this season is almost as boring as season six.
I did like Allison and Adam (why was he so "gaspy" tonight??) but neither really had that "memorable" performance to make me remember either one of them tomorrow.
No matter what else he does, I don't think Adam can top "Tracks of My Tears". He was good tonight, but I wonder if he peaked too early.

I agree...I think they should definitely be the bottom three this week.
P.S. Does anyone else think that Anoop is a powder keg of anger just waiting to explode? He seems really angry sometimes.
Adam peaked too early? I don't think so. Tonight is the first night I've been WOW'd by him. First night I hit youtube before AI sites. I believe Adam will be the breakout even if he doesn't win AI.
And the rest? The Good:
Danny did a great job and will be a distant second to Adam. After that? Allison - a fine choice. And Anoop. I still think Anoop has a following.
The Okay - Matt. Needs to leave his hat on. enough said.
The Bad - Scott is living on borrowed time - will only stay if someone has a worse performance. Kris, what WAS that tonight? Even the moss pit was tired and bored with him. And Lil, my one time favorite, has hit the glass ceiling for superstardom. She’s distracted by someone or something. She is “quote” ‘out to win American Idol’ “unquote. And it shows. Unfortunately for her, we watchers and voters of AI know this. And will still vote with our hearts and minds.
"moss pit" haha

ME: I don't really see that. Anoop seems to be an average college kid. But that's just me, what do you see in Anoop?
I agree, I had goosebumps. He sang with emotion and it was just WOW. I was on Team Gokey alone now I am with Danny, Allison, Adam and Matt. I liked the fact that Kris changed it up, and thought it was good. I'd like Lil to go before Scott, just because I think Scott is more interesting. Lil is just a carbon copy of all sorts of R&B singers out there, and don't we already have enough.
And on another note..."moss pit" LOL
I agree, Lil needs to go and soon.. as does Scott!!
