The ten remaining kids are visiting Detroit tonight for Idol's annual tribute to Motown music. With all of the performers safely employed for the summer, tonight's delayed episode begs a few questions:
Who will sing Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch? (Let's hope nobody.)
Will Anoop sing another Michael Jackson song? (Let's hope not.)
Will Megan still be coughing, or will all of the others be instead?
Will Kara ever learn to shut up?
Will this show ever revert to a reasonable one-hour?
And will this season ever get interesting?
Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson are the mentors this week, with Ruben Studdard and Smokey on tap to perform on Thursday's results night.
I will be sharing my thoughts, of course, but not tonight. And since the new president (who hasn't yet learned that Tuesday nights through May are, well, sorta off-limits unless your name is Simon) has thrown off our schedules, I won't be able to share until later tomorrow. But I'll see everyone Thursday night.

Least favorite through Michael is Megan with Michael behind her and then unfortunately Scott. Matt, Kris and Anoop were awesome!
So with Danny and Allison to go, I'd say Adam was the best so far, followed by Matt, Kris and Lil. I really hope Danny does What's going on, I love that song.

Lil: Looked like Flip Wilson's Geraldine. I don't know---she's a bit overrated to me.

1. Adam had a "moment" as Simon says. I loved it and had to go back and watch several times. I love that he got in character for the song. That look works for him, in my opinion.
2. Kara can't count! "One of the best performances of the night" is more than six words. She's a bit flaky. I still think an odd number of judges is better.
3. Megan Joy needs to go home. She's getting to be Tatiana annoying. BTW, what happened to her last name?
4. I miss Alexis. It wasn't time for her to go yet. She should have been on tour.
5. Is it just me or when Ryan asks Lil a question does it seem like she just babbles awkwardly instead of answering it? Go Obama (heh!)
Kara can count. "Of" and "the" are used twice in her phrase, therefore she really did only use 6 words.
Best performance of the night, hands down, Adam.
Her old last name, Corkery, is her ex-husband's.
However, her new name "Megan Joy" has already been taken by a pornstar . . . er, so I've heard.
I think they may a mistake by sending Alexis home last week. It should of been Megan. Alexis would of done much better on the tour. Megan's not good! For the last two or three weeks shes been awful. ( Wasn't Carley enough with the ugly arm thing going on,) and she moves or dances like she has a stick up her butt.
Anyway I think Adam was great last night and love the new look. He looked like a different person. Allison was pretty great too.
Lil reminds me too much of Fantasia, who I can't stand!!!!!! Plus I think she borrowed one of Britney's cheap wigs. She did look like Filp Wilson, on him it was a riot, I loved him.

Good night last night. The guys, were for the most part really good, the girls, except for Allison were not!!
I'm thinking it will soon be an all guys with one girl competition!!
Lil blew it last night.. as Kara said, it was her night to shine and she didn't. Does anyone think she sounds like her mouth has been shot full of novocain when she speaks?? Very odd!!
Megan was a train wreck and I'm sad about that!! Alexis should not have gone home before her.
Allison was fantabulous!!! Loved it!!!
I was thrilled that Adam did so well. I haven't like him much but wanted him to stick around as I had a feeling he could surprise us. I LOVED his performance last night. I liked his look too!!
My next fave (actually I may even have liked him more than Adam) was Matt. Great performance.
Next faves were Anoop and Kris together.
Danny was kind of ho hum last night.
Michael and Scott were both bad.
w/o looking at Dial Idol I'm thinking bottom two tonight will be Megan and Michael. If Allison comes within sniffing range of bottom two I'll be very very unhappy!!!

Lil's singing reminds me of LaToya, only she tends to shout more than LaToya ever did.
