Tomorrow the semi-finalists will be revealed, after their long and agonizing elevator journey and walk to the chair. But tonight we get to see their last, pathetic attempts to tempt and sway the judges.
And it's another open thread so that we can all moan or applaud their efforts. (I will be switching between Idol and the Dog Show as I root for the always-robbed Havanese to win the toy group.)

I can't believe Tatiloony and Norman (Psycho) Gentle are still in this competition!! I'm afraid it's purely for "entertainment" value and to give us someone we love to hate!! There are others who fit that category as well.. the drama queen guy with all the face jewelry!! AI is not taking the high road at present!!
When wast he last time Idol took the high road? Was it when they whacked Judd out of the blue a few years back? Or the whole "wrong door" thing?
As sad as it is to say Idol is all about entertainment, not about talent.
The sad part about both Nick/Norman and Tatiana is that when it comes down to it, they can both sing. Tatiana is just too much of a drama queen and Nick can't take this thing seriously. I see both of them having a strong fanbase due to all of their TV time, but I don't see either of them winning.
Every year there's someone like Tatiana. What a pain in the A--! My husband said they do it just to p--- me off.

Vote for the Worst will have a heyday with Tatiana and Nick/Norman and they will keep them on the show a long time, losing deserving people along the way. So frustrating.
Now, I liked the saga of the wrong door. :P And if I'm not mistaken, Tatiana is pretty much assured for the VFTW anointment. She's this year's Breanna.
OMG Tatiana made me head hurt. Sheesh! I already have a few faves and the wonderful blind guy brought tears to my eyes.
Strangely enough, I always root for the shelties but they are overlooked as well. Damn dog shows need better judges like us!
