auditions take five: it's almost over...
We're in the last stretch of auditions before we hit Hollywood. I don't think I'm the only one saying THANK HEAVENS!
On the homefront, it's snowing. A lot. And I still have a cold. But it's getting better, and I thank you for all of the well wishes.
I won't be watching live, so I'm counting on your commentary to tell me who to watch for when I watch the recording.

The singers tonight were mostly awful. I am so ready for Hollywood.
Hope you're feeling even a little bit better. Feeling crappy sucks. Just like the auditions.
You didn't miss anything tonight, they pretty much all sucked. I will have to say though that Simon is actually nice this season. What's the world coming to!?!? Feel better sweety!

They only spoke to just a couple of the people who made it through to Hollywood. Those who make it to the semi-finals have a lot of catching up to do as far as camera face-time. The ones who get to tell about themselves on camera are way ahead of the game - I hope they at least try to make it an even playing field by spreading the spotlight around.
I can't wait for the real show to start. I feel like I'm watching the Gong show. LOL
PS: Its snowing here too, and I'm sick of it!

Dave is right, I didn't see anyone that just made me want to start voting for them right away. I get the feeling that the overall talent level is down a bit, because they seem to be giving away tickets to some that have less than great voices or personalities.
