auditions take four: when will this end?...
It's another night, another day, new president and new round of auditions. I am anxiously awaiting the end of them, personally. The auditions, that is. Not the new president.
It's open because I have a cold, and I'm taking to my bed, hopped up on cold medication and tons of self-pity.

I am probably the only person who feels this way --- but -- new judge Kara (I think that's her name) just rubs me the wrong way - she seems to feel she is the expert of the bunch and she's bitchy! - Just my feelings. If you disagree, let me know.

Connie, I respectfully disagree. I actually like Kara quite a bit. I think the reason why she's coming off the way she is is because Simon is pushing her over the edge. They seem to get on each others' nerves, don't they?! Looks like Paula is off the hook for a bit. lol
I think Kara really knows what she's talking about. You don't have over 100 top hits without music savvy. AND, she can actually sing. Unlike bikini-girl. Ugh...

Some of the auditions were Ok I guess tonight - so far none are outstanding - but that happens every year - hopefully someone will blow us away - Good night all - Thank you Jennifer for blog - I promise no more

I'm just relieved to have a female judge with an operating brain, for a change. I think they should have replaced Paula altogether....

I, too, am eagerly awaiting the end of the auditions and am looking forward to the footage of Hollywood/Hell Week. With some of the people we've seen already, that should get really interesting.
