Where is everybody????? No opinions about last night? I really liked the guy who's wife died recently (looks a bit like Robert Downey, Jr). I think he had a real nice voice, a great story and he is cute (and he is a music teacher, awww). He is my new favorite for this season so far.
Ok, I'll weigh in. I liked Von, the kid in the hat, who sang Over the Rainbow. So far he is my pick.
I don't know her name but she had short hair and was a mom of three they had to move to a live in hotel recently. Her husband was with her when she got the ticket to Hollywood. I really liked her, she could SING and you know I'm a sucker for cute kids. So GLAD you are back Jennifer!
i thought it was pretty cool michael castro auditioned - it will be interesting to see how he does.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Not another Castro. I'm referring to Jason Castro's brother who just singing 20 days before auditioning. Give me a break. Jason wasn't very smart and neither is his brother. Sorry but that's just my opinion.

Happy New Year! I'm so glad you're back! I pray there's only going to be one sleezy gimmick like bikini girl this season.
As for contestants -I liked Von too....and the construction guy.
As for judges - I warmed up to Kara by the end of the second opening night.
Bikini girl for the win.
Just kidding.
So far I really like Danny's voice, the guy who lost his wife.
Nelle, that was Lil Rounds - she was one of my favorites, too.

I, too, liked that guy. I can't remember his name but he's got a FANTASTIC voice! He's a natural singer. And his story made me cry. :(

Von was adorable! He was a bit over the top during much of his audition but there were moments of subtlety that it became clear the kid can really sing! I'd love to see him in the top 12.
