Hi Jennifer, I want to thank you for this great blog. Its kept me entertained for the last 5 months. I enjoy reading everyone opinion on Idol.

I was getting a little bored with the show towards the end, but last night was wonderful!!! I put this right up there with season 5.

I really liked both David's, but I think they got it right. I cried right along with him last night. My husband thought Iwas losing it.

What a difference from one season to the next. I enjoyed seening Jordin and thinks she a beautiful girl, but someone else made the comment that it was neat to see Blake singing right along with her and that was my favorite part of her song too.

Carrie also looked beautiful and she really knows how to work it on stage now. What a difference.

I listened to David song and thought it was great!!!

Thank you again for all the time you put into this, I wish I could send you flowers or something.

I LIKE that song. For a coronation song it's not bad at all. I also think that's a Cook version because I can't imagine Archie singing to that same arrangement. If so, good for Idol.

I'm really happy it turned out this way, and something I noticed at the end was, everyone was cheering. Remember how last year at least half the crowd started booing when Blake didn't win?? To me, that's the biggest difference this year, it seems to have a vibe like seasons 1 and 4, where both finalists were liked or loved, and while everyone had a favorite, they were happy whomever won.

Someone please keep tabs on TMZ, I want an update on the Dave - Kim dinner hahaha

Perhaps this was a better season than it felt like 3 or 4 weeks ago. I think the kickoff order ended up wrong, but the top 3 I can't argue with. Castro looked and sounded much better last night too. Amanda i thought looked like a deer in headlights, and it was obvious during one of the songs she can't sing melodically, so perhaps that had her extra nervous??

Great blog again Jenn, maybe it's time for Jenn to blog the auditions!! hahaha go hang out for 2 days at each site chatting with the people and blogging about the people you meet? hahaha

take care, see ya all in January,

JJ

ps, oh, and i hope KLC got her horse back.

wow.. that ain't half bad at all, I could see myself buying his album in a heartbeat.. he made that song current and easy on the ears and although the lyrics are kinda sappy he makes them believable.. very cool..
