elevator, chair, death...
After all these weeks of agony waiting, tonight's the night of the famed elevator ride, chair walk of death. Thirty-six people will survive, twelve of whom will kill entertain us next week.
Personally, I'm dealing with thunderstorms that are causing my lights to flicker, so I'm hoping the cable holds it together, and I'm still dealing with the virus from hell that's got me looking up exorcism in the yellow pages, so it's an open thread so that we can compare, contrast, criticize Tatiana and condemn the judges who continually send her through.

I hope you don't have the horrible stomach virus going around here, most people are incapacitated for days and losing ten or so pounds! My son is just recovering and I asked him to postpone visiting for a few more days. I will be more comfortable when I can remember names with the faces in the next few weeks.
I really am wondering what the judges were smoking when they chose the top 36 this year!! I cannot ever remember a year when I was this shocked and appalled by who they put through. It is clearly not based on singing ability. I've watched this show and rearranged my schedule around watching this show for years, but if I have to see the likes of Tatiana for much longer, I will turn it off for good. She is the most obnoxious contestant yet. And can't even sing on top of that. And, they put through at least 2 people who forgot their lyrics so completely that they couldn't even finish their songs. That after Simon said firmly "If you forget your lyrics you are going home!" I'm very, very disappointed...
Tatiana and that kid with the red pants were obviously chosen for their entertainment value rather than their singing abilities. I hope to God Tatiana is gone next week because that girl gets on my last nerve. Seriously think she needs meds!

I don't think Tatiana annoys me quite as much as Mikayla Gordon. Yes, she is surrounded by drama, but that's what 19E likes. And once the singing starts, the drama tends to fall by the wayside.
Of course, VFTW will have a field day with her.
Tatiana and Nathaniel are extremely annoying. I cannot believe both of them got through.
I like Lil Rounds. She has a beautiful voice and she just seems so nice. Maybe it is because she's a mom.
How mean was that to make the oil rig guy and welder compete and then put them both through.
Maybe those nice, young men in their clean, white coats will come to take Tatiana away, ho ho, hee hee, ha haaaaa. 'nuff said. If they don't take HER away soon, they'll be coming to get ME for sure.
OMG! WTF was da judges thingin putin that split persons loser through over some many other contestants who deserve a better oppurtuniy at stardom! Tatyana or whatever the hell her name is should have been one of the 1st to go. Im sorry alot of great talent got through but this is byfar the worst judging I have ever seen in Idol!
