rhapsody in queen...

This may give us a clue as to what the eight finalists will be choosing Tuesday night, as they work with, perform with and sing the Stone Cold Classics of Queen.

This new, limited edition CD goes on sale immediately following Tuesday's show.

Since I am only vaguely familar with Queen, I decided to listen to a few clips (Simon, you might try this prior to country theme night). My first impression is that Chris will be pretty much in his element. The other guys will find something they like such as Taylor or fAce could do "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", but I think the girls may be in serious trouble. I hope I am wrong, but I think that light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train and we are about to witness a wreck Tuesday. Note, Pickles may suprise us again. She has more, blues, soul, rock in her than most of us want to admit. She could be the sleeper this week.

I just want to hear someone sing "I want to Break Free", but I'm not sure if that would fit anyone of the contestants. But then again, that hasn't stopped them before in the past couple of weeks. Also, I hope to God that no one sings Bohemian Rhapsody, because it will just put Constantine's version to shame. Let's just hope its a good night. Can't wait til Tuesday!

It would be insane of any of this group to do BoRhap, unless its a group sing, which could be FAB!

Paris is the only one of the girls who could pull of one of Queen's "big" songs. She's got the pipes; it's just a matter of not letting the song overpower her.

Katharine would do well to go deep into the Queen catalog for something like "Who Wants to Live Forever" or "These Are the Days of Our Lives" that don't require all of Freddie Mercury's theatrics.

I also think Ace, Kellie and Bucky are really going to struggle this week.

I can't wait!

I love some of the Queen classics, although I can't think of the group as Queen without Freddie. He was the real showman of the group. I look forward to seeing Chris perform but shudder at the thought of Bucky or Kellie doing Queen!

Well, according to Extra, somebody is insane enough to be trying BoRhap. They won't tell who, though.

Maybe Bucky and Kellie will do a duet of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Bucky: Is this the reeeel laaahf? Is this just faintaseeee?

Kellie: Cowt inna tahm warp no escape from calamariiiiiii...oh Ah'm SARreee!
Freddy who?!

I'm not looking forward to this! But I have a morbid curiosity to watch just to see how truly bad it's going to be.

Here is the acid test we've all been waiting for...if Pickles chooses BoRap to sing, she is in fact dumb as a box of rocks. If she picks something else, it's all an act and she's smarter than we have been lead to believe.
