No explanations are coming from the producers yet. It's being announced in a quiet way, with just a shift of photographs, but Mario Vazquez, favored by many to win the competition has withdrawn, effective today.

Nikko Smith, voted off in last week's semi-final, will take his slot when final 12 competition begins Tuesday night.
